Welcome

Time...there's never been a better time. Never a better time to pass out dictionaries to 3rd graders here in Jupiter, never a better time to help the Boy Scouts, to plant trees in our community, to help local college students achieve their dreams, to become part of something bigger than  just one person....

Everyday, Rotarians and friends of Rotary make these dream real. We are residents of Jupiter, Juno Beach and Tequesta just like you. We are residents of the world, just like you.

This year the Rotary Club of Jupiter Tequesta will donate over $ 25,000 to local organizations that make a difference.

Currently we're in the final stages of our Stan Rickle Polio Plus challenge grant. To date we have raised $ 1,850 for the Rotary Polio Plus campaign. Over the next three years each and every Rotary club worldwide will donate at least $ 1000.00 per club per year for a total of 100 million dollars and this will be matched with a 100 million dollar grant from The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Together we will eliminate Polio.

We've really hit the ground running this year with our kickoff "back to school" campaign. Rotarians, Rotary friends, parents, and hundreds of civic minded area residents will join together to make sure no school child goes without paper and pencil, that every 3rd grader receives their own dictionary , and that children in need receive age appropriate books. We urge all of our community members to join us for this exciting program. Your dollar goes a long way on this one!

Rotary is local, Rotary is worldwide. I often refer to Rotary as a big umbrella with room for all those who have a desire to make their communities a better place. As a civic organization we are open to all those who want to help. We are a group of civic and business leaders and encourage membership, but helping does not require membership. If you would like to volunteer time, or money to a specific program your help is always welcome.
