Camp Tanah Keeta

The Rotary Club of Jupiter Tequesta is proud to have a long standing relationship with Camp Tanah Keeta. Over the past 14 years the club has had 1 "hearts and hammers" project every year. We usually budget between $ 4500-6500 for our Tanah Keeta projects. We are alway happy to find local volunteers, supplies, and funding.

A warm welcome from Ranger Steve

Come on out to Tanah Keeta anytime of the year!

At our wonderful Scout Reservation, featuring Camp Loxahatchee and Camp Clear Lake, we offer many fun and exciting activities.

We have an 8.2 mile canoe run on the Loxahatchee Rive and a shorter run to Trapper Nelsons. You can “Hike the Mike” Machek Trail, a 5.2 mile self guided trail, visit our junior olympic size pool during the warmer times or splash around Clear Lake.

Our shooting sports ranges accomodate BB’s, 22 caliber rifles, 12 and 10 guage shotguns and sporting clays practice. For those who prefer bows and arrows, our archery range is available.

We have a 40 foot climbing and repelling tower, Low COPE course, and an all new high COPE course with a zip line. A great team building experience.

We have 12 campsites in Camp Loxahatchee. All have heated showers, lighted pavilions, and latrines. Camp Clear Lake has 3 campsites and two large pavilions. While there is no electricity in the sites, a central bathouse does have lights and heated showers. We also have a primitive camping area call Chofee-Hadjo, a great backpacking campsite.

Whether you are a Cub Pack, Scout Troop, Venture Crew, or a church youth group Tanah Keeta has it all to keep you busy and wanting to return. We sincerely hope to make Scoutings' Home a place you call home.
